Went up to Kissimmee this weekend for a family affair but was able to fish a couple hours on Saturday morning. Caught a 1# and 3# Peacock using a Yellow Perch X-Rap Shad. I was pretty excited on the 3 pounder as it’s my PB with this new lure. I’ve been using them a few weeks now but have only been able to catch 1# and under, so my confidence level is increasing with them. Sorry, no pictures as I am changing phones at the moment.
One further note is that I’ve been trying various jigs to build up my confidence but still can’t feel nor catch anything with them. I will continue to use them as it’s my “lure to learn” for this year.
