Recently published in BlogMad’s newsletter is yet more information on there latest project: eXlinks.

For those of you who are still not sure what eXlinks is, let me take a moment and explain it. The basic premise behind it is referring. Anyone with a blog, website, forum, search engine or any other kind of web presence can join.

You refer people to your site and as more friends get referred to each other’s site, backlinks back and forth are created. Now usually you can get a trackback link if someone does it manually. However, eXlinks will do it automatically, for everyone who refers somebody. This, in turn benefits everyone when you use the referral link, as it continues on down the line. The referral leads go to the next person, and so forth making it build exponentially.

The benefits are major backlinks. Googling eXlinks already shows links in the 6 digits. I’m on board already and think this should help out the blog and get some more involvement, which would only help Full Time Fishing.

In addition, for all people who join before it’s initial date will receive additional “goodies”. What it is, no one knows but it will definitely be worth it. I’ve included the complete text from the newsletter:

Progress on eXlinks is definitely moving forward! Many people have asked us whether eXlinks was a fly by night idea and there is no way we would let any of our members down by pulling a stunt like that! Darryl has been slaving away to get eXlinks ready for its alpha launch on the 1st of May 2007 w e’ll be sending another newsletter to the people that have joined eXlinks so far giving them insight as to how everything is going to fit together, including all the info on the features!
