An Open qualifier by the name of Boyd Duckett (Demopolis, Alabama), held off Skeet Reese and two-time champion Kevin VanDam to win the 37th Bassmaster Classic on Sunday. Duckett, whose Day 3 bag of 17 pounds, 13 ounces, gave him a 48-10 total, six ounces ahead of Reese (48-4). VanDam, the final angler to weigh-in, brought in 12-5 Sunday and finished third at 45-4.
