Can you believe that I am at a new fishing hole this morning and have to cut my trip short. I am so pissed off you coudn’t imagine. I’m actually writing this on my SprintPCS PPC-6700 from the location.

One of my friend’s gave me the insight on this lake the other day on where he catches 6+ peacock’s and largemouths. Living here in Miami, power fishing is usually the easiest for of method to scan the waters, so of course my first bait is my trusty Rapala X-Rap. It wasn’t more than 12 minutes when a nasty 3lb male peacock swallowed my jerkbait. I’m not sure if you know exactly how hard peacocks fight, but largemouth/smallmouth fight’ are nothing compared to peacock’s.
Anyways, this little fella snapped a Shakespear rod I brought like it was a twig. I ended up having to bring the line in with my hands. Next time I’ll pack some more rods..
